We are thrilled to announce that Jonah Was Here, the second feature by director Nathalie Teirlinck, starring Koen De Bouw, will have its world premiere at Film Fest Gent on Thursday 8 October 2026.
Bob visits the student room of his late son Jonah and decides to stay. In search for some extra time with his son, he slips into the student life Jonah left behind — only to find himself moving again.
Alongside Koen De Bouw, the cast features Monic Hendrickx, Maaike Neuville and Tom Vermeir, with newcomers Willem Loobuyck, Alicia Andries and Cem Yayla joining them.
