Julie Keeps Quiet, Leonardo van Dijl's feature debut, has been shortlisted for the European Film Awards. Julie Keeps Quiet had its world premiere in May as part of the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes, where it won three film awards. On 16 October, the film comes to theatres in Belgium. Since its world premiere in Cannes, which was positively received by audiences and the film press in attendance, Julie Keeps Quiet has also been invited to the Karlovy Vary, Melbourne, Sarajevo and Polish New Horizons film festivals. In September, Leonardo van Dijl's feature debut will have its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
