The jury of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival has awarded Cargo the Best Screenplay award. This was announced during the award show Sunday evening at the 58th edition of the film festival in Greece. The  International Jury in Thessaloniki consisted this year of the Palestinian actrice Annemarie Jacir, the Greek actrice Maria Nafpliotou, the Iranian-American actor Payman Maadi, the French sound designer Bruno Tarrière and Karel Och, artistic director of the International Film Festival of Karlovy Vary. The screenplay of Cargo is written by Gilles Coulier and Tom Dupont.
